Eva Bell (Williams) Ellsworth, 83, of Novinger, Missouri, passed away Monday (January 28, 2013) at Twin Pines Adult Care Center in Kirksville.

The daughter of Ruben and Edna (Ferrell) Williams, she was born September 5, 1929 in Green Castle, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Aldo Ellsworth who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Rosine Brookbank, Margaret Thurman and Frances Williams and four brothers, Herman, Leland, Fred and Thomas Williams.

Eva is survived by two sisters, June Conner of Novinger, MO and Bernice Johnson of Kirksville, MO, and several nieces and nephews.

Eva received her education at the Danforth rural school. She was employed at McGraw Edison Company several years until going to work at Lambert’s Glove Factory. Eva was a homemaker, who enjoyed gardening, cleaning homes for others, sewing and she was an excellent cook.

Eva will be remembered for being a wonderful sister and will be sadly missed.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday (January 31, 2013) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Alan Coonfield officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Novinger Cemetery in Novinger.

Family will receive friends on Thursday (January 31, 2013) from 1:00 to service time in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Eldon Johnson, Rex Conner, Clarence Conner, Paul Johnson, Thomas Conner and Tim Conner.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Eva Ellsworth may be made to the Twin Pines Adult Care Center Residents Christmas Fund. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
