We celebrate the life of Raymond Noble Knight of Gladstone (Kansas City), Missouri, born January 7, 1942, died January 31, 2018, son of Haley and Elizabeth (Sowell) Knight of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and brother of Tom, Marlene, Buddy, Howard, Jewell and Eddie.

Raymond is survived by his wife Linda (Mosley) and their sons Brian (wife Kara Short) and Brandon (wife Laura Lininger) Knight. By previous marriages Raymond has five children, Lori, Kenny, Craig, Brent and Lisa.

Raymond had many friends, including those who worked with him at the machine shops where he was a machinist and tool and die maker. He played guitar and sang at churches and gospel singings. Raymond’s favorite music was bluegrass. He would sit for hours playing his guitar. Raymond never met a stranger and would help anyone. He loved his children dearly, but, most of all, he loved Jesus, his Lord and Savior. Because we know where Raymond is, we can celebrate his life with the knowledge that we will see him again.

Saturday, February 3, 2018, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. at Moment of Truth Bible Baptist Church, 310 Randolph Road, Kansas City (Claycomo), MO 64119. A Viewing Service, where flowers may be sent, will be held the same day from 2:30-3:30 p.m., at Travis-Noe Funeral Home, 1008 W Potter Ave, Kirksville MO 63501. An Interment Service for Family will be held the same day at Mount Moriah Cemetery, Mt. Moriah Trail off Route K, Novinger MO 63559.
