Richard Wayne King, 82, of Novinger, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

Richard was born the son of Arlie Lester and Lula (Powers) King on June 1, 1934 in Aurora, Illinois. On August 9, 1952 in Aurora, Illinois, Richard was united in marriage to Wilma Anderson.

Richard is survived by his wife Wilma of sixty-four years; four sons, Randall King of Newton, AL, Richard King of Salem, MO, Robby King of Novinger, MO, and Rodney King of Green City, MO; two brothers, George King of Sun City, AZ, and Darrell King of Yorkville, IL; one sister, Dorothy Russ of Sun City, AZ, as well as over sixty-five grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Rory King; one sister, Virginia Corrigan; and one brother, Donald King.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2017 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Green City, MO, under the direction of Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville. No public visitation will be held.
