Karen Sue (Sheppard) Williams, 71, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Sunday (August 9, 2015) at Kirksville Manor Care Center.

The daughter of Alvin and Gladys (Grindstaff) Sheppard, she was born January 13, 1944 in Harris, Missouri.

Karen is survived by one son, Michael Carter of Newtown, MO; two daughters, Teresa Williams of Chariton, IA, and Laura Woods of Kirksville, MO; four brothers, Alvin Sheppard, Ronnie Sheppard, Darryl Sheppard and Howard Sheppard all of Brookfield, MO; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Karen has been cremated and services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were taken care of by Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.
