Donald Allen Tuttle, 76, of Macon, Missouri, passed away Friday (January 9, 2015) at Lakeview Health Care in Boonville, Missouri.

The son of Allen and Thelma (Brooks) Tuttle, he was born September 27, 1938 in Gifford, Missouri. On June 18, 1988 in Montgomery City, Missouri, Donald was united in marriage to Phyllis Richardson.

Donald is survived by his wife Phyllis of twenty six years; one step son, Dennis Richardson and wife Linda of Montgomery City, MO; two step daughters, Susan Harbor and husband Kenny of Stapleton, NB and Shari Eggley and husband Don of Mount Vern, MO; several step grandchildren, and one cousin, Duane Sullivan and wife Ruth of Macon, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Donald was a graduate from the LaPlata High School in LaPlata, Missouri. From 1958 to 1962, he served in the United States Air Force. He was employed with Standard Oil Company before going to work for Santa Fe Railroad where he worked a number of years. He was last employed for Standard Register in Kirksville, Missouri, until retiring in 2001.

Donald attended the Queen City and Atlanta Christian Churches.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday (January 13, 2015) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor George Bradburn officiating. Family will receive friends on Tuesday (January 13, 2015) for one hour before the service.

Interment will follow the service at Maple Hills Cemetery in Kirksville.

Pallbearers will be Gilbert Schmitter, Gerald Robinson, Don Eggley, Dennis Richardson, Larry Geib and Kenneth Harbur.
