Scotland Gayle Clark, 8, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday (September 24, 2014) at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

The daughter of Craig and Amanda (Fisher) Clark, she was born January 9, 2006 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Scotland is survived by her parents, Craig and Amanda Clark of Kirksville, MO; two brothers, Sullivan and Hogan Clark and one sister, Paislee Grace Clark all of the home; grandparents, Mark and Rhonda Fisher of Greentop, MO, Scott and Sonya Clark of Kirksville, MO; great grandparents, Dub and Jan England of Chillicothe, MO, Charlene Fisher of Greentop, MO, Sharon Clark of Neosho, MO and Sharon Montgomery of Queen City, MO; great-great grandmother, Grace Osborn of Oakland, IL, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Scotland was a third grader at Ray Miller Elementary school. In her eight years, Scotland touched so many lives and made countless friends. Her smile and personality was contagious and she was the pride and joy of her family. Sullivan, Paislee, and Hogan thought Scotland was the best big sister ever.

Every gathering was “happy birthday”!! She loved Dora the Explorer, singing, Barney, and could always be seen “flipping” objects such as her Grandpa’s watch.

Public visitation will be held Saturday (September 27, 2014) from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church in Kirksville.

Funeral services under the direction of Travis-Noe Funeral Home will be held 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, with Pastor David Lukefahr officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville.

Pallbearers will be Sullivan Clark, Paislee Clark, Eric Clark, Karissa Clark, Kale Watson, Josh Hettinger and Joey Magruder. Honorary pallbearers will be Hogan Clark, Kiley Watson, Atiana Clark, her cousins and members of Team Scotland.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Scotland Clark Memorial Fund. Memorials may be left at Faith Lutheran Church or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
