Rosemary (Clinkenbeard) Winkleman, 67, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday (February 25, 2014) at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

The daughter of Alonzo Thomas and Mary Iris (Davis) Clinkenbeard, she was born November 15, 1946 in Unionville, Missouri.

Rosemary is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Patrick and Taylor Winkleman and Barry “ B.J.” Winkleman all of Kirksville, MO; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Donald Eitel of DeKalb, IL; one brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Nancy Clinkenbeard of Winfield, IL; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice Sue and Jim Johnson of Kirksville, MO and Alona and Robert Peters of Plainville, IL; one brother-in-law, Dwight Snead of Kahoka, MO; one sister-in-law, Peggy Clinkenbeard of Oregan, MO; seven grandchildren, Alexandra and Zachary Winkleman, Peyton and Kelsea Eitel and Brandon, Jessica and Dustin Johnson, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Diane Snead and one brother, Ron Clinkenbeard.

Rosemary was a graduate from Unionville High School with the Class of 1964. She resided most of her life in the Kirksville area and was employed as assistant manager for Fazzoli’s until it closed. She later worked as a care giver for Première Home Health and last for R.A.I.L.

Her hobbies included quilting, scrap booking, flower arranging, antiquing, putting together puzzles and working crossword puzzles. Most of all Rosemary loved time spent with her family and playing with her grandchildren.

Rosemary was a member of the New Hope Church of Kirksville.

Public visitation will be held Friday (February 28, 2014) with family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday (March 1, 2014) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Darrel Draper and Pastor Dwight Snead officiating. Music selections “Amazing Grace” and “Closer Walk With Thee” will be provided by Jessica Snead who will be accompanied by Dianthe Cable, organist. Interment will follow the service at Thompson Cemetery in Hartford, Missouri.

Pallbearers will be her nephews, Keith, Karl and John Clinkenbeard, Jeremy Johnson, Daniel, David, Doug, and Dwayne Snead, Matthew, Aaron, and Timothy Peters and grandson, Brandon Johnson.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Rosemary Winkleman may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
